Good question! Sessions usually take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. I like to take my time to get to know your pet so they are comfortable and having fun! Some pets take a little longer to warm up than others and that's ok. I want you to cherish your photos and a little patience goes a long way.

Yes! We recommend purchasing a gift certificate of $400 or more if you’d like to gift a session with artwork.

If you know someone who already had a session with us, but want to surprise them with a product credit? Reach out and we can arrange a gift for them.

Absolutely! Safety is huge, and the majority of my pet clients are kept on leash during their session. With a little photoshop magic I can make those leashes disappear!

You bet! For every session I will offer a chance for you to take part if you wish. My session fee includes all immediate family members and/or those who reside within the same household. Additional people can be added for a fee. Please inquire if you are looking to book photos for a large group.

Typically your gallery is ready to view 2 weeks after your session. You session fee includes a gallery premier where you will be able to view and purchase your artwork.

Not at all. Most of my subjects are your average pets. I am very patient and will work with your dog. I am confident that each session will be a success! Sometimes it may take longer to work with excited or shy dogs, but I don’t mind.

The $100 session fee is due in full at the time of booking in order to secure your spot on my calendar. Payment for artwork and digital images is due at the time of ordering. I am happy to offer two payment plans for gallery premier orders. Contact me with any questions or to learn more.

The simple answer is no. However, I do include a watermarked web sized file of each photo that you purchase for you to share on social media. Full resolution digital files and print products are sold at additional cost. When you purchase a session with Northern Tails Pet Photography you are getting my experience, knowledge, and passion.
